I've been quiet around these parts for the balance of 2010. It's been a pretty busy time. A lot of things have gotten done (like progress on our kitchen remodel) and a lot of things haven't gotten done as I would have liked but that's ok. All in all, 2010 was a pretty fabulous year. Our really fabulous, and hot as hell, wedding...a wonderful trip to Ireland and the merging of two homes to make them one. 2010 is going down as one of the better of my life.
But now we're onto 2011. Seems odd to be in the "teens" of the 21st century now...the next few years will mark the 100th birthdays of all of my grandparents...
I am not doing any "resolutions" this year. Rather I am participating in the One Big Word project and my word for 2011 is CONNECTION. I want to work on my connections with my friends, my family and myself in 2011. I'm excited to see where it takes me.
And I have one small goal -- read 25 books this year!

I'm signed up for Ali's class too. My word this year is Passion (as in finding what I am passionate about and making those things happen).
